ISP billing software
built for Uganda
Iterative Billing runs Ugandan ISPs on the rails Uganda already uses: MTN Mobile Money integrated natively with request-to-pay, Airtel Money and cards through Flutterwave and Pesapal, MikroTik at the edge, and subscribers back online the moment payment confirms. Packages and receipts are in Ugandan shillings, while the platform itself costs $0.135 per active customer in US dollars, capped at $45 a month up to 500 customers and $90 up to 1,000, with no charge per router or hotspot site.
Reviewed within one business day · 3-day trial for approved networks · Unlimited routers

What Ugandan operators are switching away from
The old way: Chasing MoMo confirmations and reconciling them to subscribers by hand.
MTN MoMo request-to-pay is native: the customer approves on their phone, the payment matches automatically, and the account activates in seconds.
The old way: Manual disconnections and reconnections on every MikroTik.
Billing drives the router through built-in RADIUS with CoA: expiry disconnects, payment restores, no Winbox needed for routine work.
The old way: Per-customer fees and hotspot revenue shares that grow with your success.
Capped pricing: $0.135 per active customer, never more than $45 a month up to 500 customers or $90 up to 1,000, and hotspot never more than $27 a month, with unlimited routers and hotspot sites.
Everything a Ugandan ISP needs in one dashboard
MTN MoMo, natively
Request-to-pay lands on the phone, the customer approves, service activates, the same rail the platform runs in Ghana, Rwanda, Zambia and Cameroon. In Uganda, ioTec Pay adds MTN MoMo and Airtel Money collections natively, including on hotspot portals; Flutterwave and Pesapal add cards.
MikroTik with built-in RADIUS
RouterOS v6 and v7 routers onboard automatically in at most 8 minutes, and the built-in RADIUS server with CoA handles PPPoE and hotspot logins with live plan changes.
Hotspots for campuses and trading centres
Captive portals where customers pay with MTN MoMo or Airtel Money through ioTec Pay and get online in seconds, plus vouchers for cash and an ads marketplace for local shops.
Shillings for subscribers
Packages, invoices and receipts are in UGX; only the capped platform fee is billed in US dollars.
Agentic AI operations
Autonomous troubleshooting at customer-router and network level, remote reboots, secure WiFi credential resets.
Apps for your team and your subscribers
The Iterative Billing Operator app for your staff and the Internet Billing self-care app for PPPoE, hotspot and static-IP subscribers, on iPhone and Android.

Questions operators ask
How much does ISP billing software cost in Uganda?
A Ugandan network with 300 active customers pays $40.50 a month; at 500 the bill is capped at $45, and up to 1,000 it never exceeds $90. Hotspot revenue costs 2% of what is collected, capped at $27 a month, routers and sites are free of charge, and the minimum is $9. Fees are in US dollars; your subscribers pay you in Ugandan shillings. Approved networks get a 3-day trial after a review of one business day.
Does Iterative Billing support MTN Mobile Money in Uganda?
Yes, natively. MTN MoMo request-to-pay is integrated directly: the customer approves the prompt on their phone and the payment reconciles automatically against their account, with service restored in seconds. Airtel Money and card payments are covered through Flutterwave and Pesapal, which both operate in Uganda.
Can my subscribers pay with Airtel Money in Uganda?
Yes. Through ioTec Pay, a Ugandan payment gateway built into the platform, subscribers pay with MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money directly, on the self-care portal or at a hotspot captive portal, and each payment is matched to the right account automatically. Flutterwave and Pesapal cover cards.
Can I bill my subscribers in Ugandan shillings?
Yes. Packages, invoices and receipts for your own subscribers are in UGX through the multi-currency engine. Only the Iterative Billing platform fee is billed in US dollars.
Does Iterative Billing work with MikroTik in Uganda?
Yes, any RouterOS v6 or v7 device. You add the router once and the platform sets up PPPoE, hotspot, queues and IP pools itself, in at most 8 minutes; from then on its built-in RADIUS server applies payments, expiries and plan changes to live sessions.
Does it work for hotspots in Uganda?
Yes. Customers on a branded MikroTik captive portal pay with MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money through ioTec Pay, or redeem a voucher bought for cash, and are online within seconds. The platform takes 2% of collected hotspot revenue, never more than $27 a month.
Can I run several towns on one account?
Yes. Routers and hotspot sites are unlimited, so Kampala, Jinja and Mbarara sites sit on one account and one bill, with each router on the network map.
