For medium and enterprise ISPs

Enterprise ISP billing,
built for networks that cannot stop

Iterative Billing runs the whole operation of a serious ISP on one platform: billing and payments, built-in RADIUS, MikroTik and Huawei OLT automation, a NOC monitor, TR-069, double-entry accounting and AI agents. Our largest network manages 9,378 customers on a single account, and ISPs that need it run on a dedicated server reserved for their network alone: 4 vCPUs, 6 GB RAM and 80 GB storage.

What breaks when an ISP outgrows its billing system

Billing that slows to a crawl at month-end, when thousands of renewals land at once.

RADIUS, payments, hotspot logins and background jobs run in separate worker pools, so they never queue behind each other and renewal day looks like any other day.

Shared infrastructure, where another company’s traffic spike becomes your outage.

ISPs that need it get a dedicated server reserved for their network alone: 4 vCPUs, 6 GB RAM and 80 GB storage. Every network, dedicated or not, keeps its data in its own isolated database.

Five tools stitched together: billing here, RADIUS there, a separate NOC, accounting in a spreadsheet.

One platform: built-in RADIUS with CoA, MikroTik and Huawei OLT automation, TR-069, a NOC monitor, and double-entry Finance & Accounting that posts itself.

No way back if a server fails.

The platform is replicated live to a disaster-recovery server in a second data centre, with off-site backups on top.

The enterprise stack

NOC Monitor

Loss, latency and throughput for every router, per-port SNMP analytics, access-point station tables and outage history.

Built-in RADIUS with CoA

Authentication and accounting for PPPoE, Hotspot and Static IP, with live plan changes on active sessions.

MikroTik and Huawei OLT

RouterOS v6 and v7 onboarded over VPN with no public IP needed; ONU authorisation and provisioning without the OLT console.

TR-069 (ACS)

Remote management of customer routers and ONTs: WiFi settings, reboots, firmware and diagnostics.

Finance & Accounting

Double-entry ledger, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, payroll, stock and KRA eTIMS-aligned invoicing.

AI agents

Troubleshoot routers, reboot devices and reset customer WiFi without sending a technician.

Teams and corporate accounts

Staff roles and permissions, 2FA, the technician app, and parent accounts for customers with many sites.

Isolated and exportable

Each ISP in its own database, with every record exportable in CSV or JSON at any time.

Pay for the network you run

Billed in Kenyan shillings. From 1 October 2026. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.

Caps and estimator
PPPoE and Static IP

KSh 15 per active customer a month

Never more than KSh 7,000 a month up to 1,000 customers. The cap is reached at 467 customers, so customers 468 to 1,000 add nothing to your bill.

Hotspot

2% of revenue you actually collect

Never more than KSh 3,000 a month. Failed payments, refunds and reversals are never counted.

Monthly minimum

KSh 1,000

Applied once, to the total of both meters, never on top. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.

Kenyan networks are billed in shillings. Outside Kenya: $0.135 per customer (max $63), 2% of hotspot (max $27), $9 minimum.

Questions operators ask

Can Iterative Billing handle an enterprise ISP?

Yes. Our largest network manages 9,378 customers on a single account, with billing, payments, RADIUS, MikroTik and OLT provisioning, the NOC monitor and accounting all running on the platform. ISPs that need guaranteed capacity run on a dedicated server reserved for their network: 4 vCPUs, 6 GB RAM and 80 GB storage.

Do enterprise ISPs share a server with other networks?

They do not have to: ISPs that need it get a dedicated server of their own. On the shared platform every ISP still keeps its data in its own isolated database, and RADIUS, payments, hotspot logins and background jobs run in separate worker pools, so one busy network cannot slow another.

What happens if a server fails?

The shared platform is replicated live to a disaster-recovery server in a second data centre, and backups are kept off-site as well.

How is an enterprise ISP priced?

On the same published usage-based pricing: KSh 15 per active customer, never more than KSh 25,000 a month up to 5,000 customers and KSh 75,000 beyond, plus 2% of collected hotspot revenue, never more than KSh 5,000 a month. Talk to us about a dedicated-server deployment.

Which ISPs is it built for?

Medium and large fibre, fixed-wireless and hotspot operators on MikroTik and Huawei, from a few hundred customers to nearly ten thousand on a single account today.
