Pay for the network you run
Billed in Kenyan shillings. From 1 October 2026. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.
KSh 15 per active customer a month
Never more than KSh 7,000 a month up to 1,000 customers. The cap is reached at 467 customers, so customers 468 to 1,000 add nothing to your bill.
2% of revenue you actually collect
Never more than KSh 3,000 a month. Failed payments, refunds and reversals are never counted.

Applied once, to the total of both meters, never on top. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.
Kenyan networks are billed in shillings. Outside Kenya: $0.135 per customer (max $63), 2% of hotspot (max $27), $9 minimum.
Questions operators ask
Can customers buy WiFi with M-Pesa without a voucher?
Yes. The captive portal supports direct M-Pesa purchase: the customer selects a bundle, receives an STK Push on their phone, and is connected automatically once the payment is confirmed.
Do vouchers work without internet at the point of sale?
Vouchers are generated in advance in the dashboard and can be printed or shared, so an agent can sell them anywhere. Redemption happens when the customer enters the code on the portal.
How many hotspot sites can I run?
As many as you like: routers and hotspot sites are never metered. Pricing follows collected hotspot revenue, capped at KSh 3,000 a month, not the number of locations.
Can I limit speed per bundle?
Yes. Each voucher tier or bundle has its own bandwidth profile, enforced on the MikroTik router through RADIUS.
Is the portal available in my branding only?
Yes. White-labelling is available, so customers only ever see your brand on the portal and in the customer area.
