The best ISP billing software
in Kenya
Iterative Billing is the best ISP billing software in Kenya for PPPoE, hotspot and fibre ISPs, built around how Kenyan operators actually run: M-Pesa as the payment rail, MikroTik at the edge, and subscribers who expect to be back online seconds after they pay. It runs ISPs from a single hotspot to 9,378 customers, pricing is in Kenyan shillings and capped, support is on WhatsApp, and routers are unlimited.

What Kenyan operators are switching away from
Matching M-Pesa statements to subscribers by hand every evening.
Paybill and Till payments arrive through the Daraja API and are matched to the subscriber automatically. The account activates within seconds, no reconciliation session required.
Logging into each MikroTik to disable non-payers and re-enable them after they pay.
Billing status drives the router. Expiry sends a RADIUS CoA disconnect; payment restores the session. You never open Winbox for a routine suspension again.
Paying per router, or in dollars that move with the exchange rate.
Plans are priced in KES from KSh 1,000/month, scale by subscriber count, and include unlimited MikroTik routers and hotspot sites on every tier.

KSh 15 per active customer a month

Never more than KSh 3,000 a month. Failed payments, refunds and reversals are never counted.
KSh 1,000
Applied once, to the total of both meters, never on top. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.

Questions operators ask
What is the best billing system for a Kenyan ISP or WiFi business?
Whether you call it an ISP billing system, internet billing system or WiFi billing system, the job is the same: collect M-Pesa payments, match them to the right subscriber automatically, and control the network through MikroTik and RADIUS so service activates and suspends itself. Iterative Billing does that whole loop natively, with usage-based KES pricing (KSh 15 per active customer, capped at KSh 7,000 up to 1,000 customers), unlimited routers and hotspot subscribers, and a 3-day trial for approved networks to judge it on your own routers.
Is Iterative Billing made for the Kenyan market?
Yes. Pricing is in KES, M-Pesa Paybill and Till are integrated through the official Safaricom Daraja API, SMS reminders work with local senders, and support is available on WhatsApp. It is used by ISPs, WISPs and hotspot operators across Kenya and the wider East African region.
How much does ISP billing software cost in Kenya?
From 1 October 2026 Iterative Billing is usage-based: KSh 15 per active PPPoE or Static IP customer a month, never more than KSh 7,000 up to 1,000 customers, plus 2% of the hotspot revenue you actually collect, never more than KSh 3,000 a month. The minimum is KSh 1,000 a month, and routers and hotspot sites are not metered. Approved networks start with a 3-day trial.
Do I need my own RADIUS server?
No. A RADIUS server with CoA support is built into the platform, so PPPoE and hotspot authentication, accounting and real-time disconnects work without installing or maintaining FreeRADIUS yourself.
Which MikroTik routers are supported?
All RouterOS v6 and v7 devices, including hAP, RB4011, RB5009, CCR1009/1036/2004, CRS and LtAP series. Multiple routers in different towns can be managed from one dashboard.
Can you migrate my existing subscribers?
Yes. Migration assistance is complimentary for new accounts: customers, packages, billing history and router configurations can be imported from spreadsheets or another billing platform.
