What is a TR-069 ACS used for by an ISP?
An auto-configuration server lets the ISP configure and manage customer routers and ONTs remotely: WAN settings, WiFi name and password, reboots, firmware and diagnostics, without visiting the customer.
Can customers change their own WiFi password?
Yes. On TR-069 managed devices, customers change the WiFi name or password from the self-care app or portal and the platform pushes the change to their router.
How is TR-069 priced elsewhere?
Splynx publishes its ACS server at $100 a month per 1,000 devices (splynx.com pricing, September 2026). In Iterative Billing the ACS is part of the same platform as billing and monitoring.
