IPv4 + IPv6 dual-stack

IPv6 for every customer,
without touching IPv4

Iterative Billing runs IPv6 alongside IPv4 for your PPPoE and Static IP customers. Add your IPv6 block once, give each MikroTik router a prefix, switch it on per plan, and every customer gets their own IPv6 prefix, managed and billed like the rest of their service.

Their experience

What your subscribers get

  • IPv6 alongside IPv4

Customers keep their IPv4 exactly as it is and gain IPv6 on the same connection.

  • Their own prefix, every time

Each customer gets a fixed delegated prefix that stays the same every time they reconnect.

  • Open for cameras, servers and gaming

When you allow it, inbound IPv6 reaches the customer, so CCTV, home servers and games work without port forwarding.

Your control room

What you control

  • Your IPv6 block, carved per router

Register your allocation once, then give each router a prefix for PPPoE or Static IP and see how much of it is used.

  • You choose the prefix size

Set what each customer receives on each router, such as a /56 or a /64, plus a WAN /64 for the link itself.

  • Plans decide who gets IPv6

Link IPv6 prefixes to a plan, and set whether inbound IPv6 is open by default. Any customer can be changed on their own page.

  • Billing governs IPv6 too

IPv6 follows the account like IPv4 does, and the router firewall only passes traffic from paying customers’ prefixes.

  • Checked every night

A nightly check confirms each router holds what the platform recorded, and each customer’s page shows their prefix and its status.

  • Works with routers that already do IPv6

Where a router already hands out IPv6 from its own pool, the platform reads what each customer really has instead of overwriting it.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your IPv6 block

Enter the allocation from your registry or upstream provider.

  2. 2

    Give each router a prefix

Carve a prefix for PPPoE or Static IP on each MikroTik router, with the customer prefix size you want.

  3. 3

    Switch it on per plan

Link the prefix to your plans; customers on them get IPv6 from their next connection.

Questions operators ask

Does Iterative Billing support IPv6?

Yes, for PPPoE and Static IP customers on MikroTik routers. IPv6 runs alongside IPv4 (dual-stack): each customer gets a fixed delegated prefix and a WAN /64, managed from the same platform that bills them.

What IPv6 prefix does each customer get?

You choose per router, for example a /56 or a /64. The prefix is fixed to the customer, so it stays the same every time they reconnect.

Does IPv6 work for hotspot customers?

Not yet. IPv6 covers PPPoE and Static IP customers; hotspot stays on IPv4 for now.

Can customers receive inbound IPv6 connections?

Yes, when you allow it. Each plan has a default for inbound IPv6, for CCTV, home servers and gaming, and you can change it for any single customer.

My routers already hand out IPv6. Will the platform overwrite them?

No. Where a router already delegates IPv6 from its own pool, Iterative Billing reads the prefix each customer really holds and keeps its own records and firewall in step with it.
