Pay for the network you run
Billed in Kenyan shillings. From 1 October 2026. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.
KSh 15 per active customer a month
Never more than KSh 7,000 a month up to 1,000 customers. The cap is reached at 467 customers, so customers 468 to 1,000 add nothing to your bill.
2% of revenue you actually collect
Never more than KSh 3,000 a month. Failed payments, refunds and reversals are never counted.

Applied once, to the total of both meters, never on top. Routers and hotspot sites are not metered.
Kenyan networks are billed in shillings. Outside Kenya: $0.135 per customer (max $63), 2% of hotspot (max $27), $9 minimum.
Questions operators ask
Should I use a Paybill or a Till Number for ISP billing?
Paybill lets the subscriber include an account number, which makes automatic reconciliation exact and is better for larger operations. Till Numbers are simpler to obtain and work well for smaller ISPs, matching payments by phone number. Both are supported.
How fast is activation after an M-Pesa payment?
Safaricom sends the callback in real time; the platform matches the payment and activates the subscriber typically within seconds, then confirms by SMS.
Do you support STK Push?
Yes. STK Push can be triggered from the captive portal, the customer portal or the operator dashboard.
What other payment gateways are integrated?
KopoKopo, SasaPay, Flutterwave, Paystack and Pesapal, alongside M-Pesa. All support automatic reconciliation.
Do I need a developer to set this up?
No. You register your shortcode on Daraja, then paste the credentials into the dashboard. Callback configuration and validation are handled by the platform, and support is available on WhatsApp.
