The full Iterative Billing platform is now available as a native app on the App Store and on Google Play. The app is called Iterative Billing Operator, it is free to install, and it signs in with the same account you use on the web. Your subscribers, routers, payments and reports are already there.
What you can do from your phone
- •See money land as it happens. Every M-Pesa Paybill, Till or STK Push payment appears as a push notification the moment Safaricom confirms it, already matched to the subscriber.
- •Manage subscribers. Create, edit, suspend or reactivate PPPoE and hotspot users, change their plan and check balances.
- •Watch your routers. Which MikroTik devices are online, how many sessions each is carrying, and alerts when one drops.
- •Sell vouchers on the spot. Generate time- or data-based hotspot vouchers for a walk-in customer or an agent without going back to the office.
- •Read the numbers. Today's collections, the week's trend and outstanding balances in dashboards designed for a phone screen.
Why we built it
Most of an ISP's day does not happen at a desk. It happens on a tower, in a customer's compound, at a cyber café that wants to start selling WiFi, or in a matatu on the way between them. The tasks that could not wait (reconnecting someone who just paid, checking whether a router really is down, giving an agent a batch of vouchers) used to mean finding a laptop. Now they are a tap.
The app also closes a loop that matters for collections: the M-Pesa integration already activates a subscriber automatically the moment they pay; the phone notification means you also *know* it happened, and can answer the customer who calls to ask.
Getting the app
Install it from the App Store on iPhone or from Google Play on Android, then sign in with your existing Iterative Billing login. There is nothing to configure. The app talks to the same account and the same MikroTik routers you already manage on the web. If you do not have an account yet, apply for access: approved networks get the app with their 3-day trial.
